IBSA member associations are invited to send their registration documents as soon as possible to Bent Gaarsted, the event organiser, at bga@dhif.dk.

More than 120 delegates are expected to attend the IBSA General Assembly in Denmark. The IBSA GA is the foundation of IBSA, where the Executive Board and a variety of committees are elected for a four-year term.

The GA provides strategic guidance to the Executive Board, which appoints official committees, working groups and task forces based on the resolutions and recommendations of IBSA’s membership.

IBSA GAs tend to be dynamic and lively gatherings, inspiring the members, board and staff to work towards achieving IBSA’s mission. IBSA members are invited to participate in the GA in a number of ways:

• Submitting motions about strategic matters in writing in advance of the IBSA GA;

• Proposing and supporting candidates to run for election to the IBSA Executive Board;

• Preparing and submitting a bid for hosting the next IBSA GA;

• Contributing to the participative sessions during the IBSA GA;

• Voting at the IBSA GA (Motions, Executive Board, Committees etc).
